Portfolio Officer

About the role

The Portfolio Officer assists Portfolio Managers, Relationship Managers, and Center Managers in the solicitation of new relationships, including loans and deposit accounts, and the retention of existing relationships. They provide sales and operational support to the sales teams in the Centers, participate in Center functions, and manage personal sales efforts to meet or exceed Center goals.

Responsibilities

• Sales and operational support to the sales teams in the Centers
• Participation in Center functions to contribute to earnings and growth objectives
• Contribution to meeting or exceeding Center budgetary goals and ensuring deposit, loan, and net income goals are met
• Supporting the implementation and following of bank operating and lending policies and procedures
• Ensuring compliance with CBB policies and procedures for audit purposes
• Assisting in meeting CRA policies and objectives for the assigned service area
• Managing personal sales efforts to meet or exceed Center goals with a specific production goal based on experience and Center location
• Promoting The Citizens Experience to all external and internal customers
• Compliance with and staying abreast of all policies and procedures, federal, and state laws applicable to the job

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university, or two to four years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
• Knowledge of Outlook Internet software; Microsoft Suite, Excel, HP Calculator, and Word Processing software
• Valid California Driver’s License
