Portfolio Manager Sr

We are seeking an experienced Senior Portfolio Manager to support the Charlotte Commercial & Middle Market team onsite.

Responsibilities

• Lead loan analysis, underwriting, origination, and portfolio management for a growing commercial and corporate portfolio.
• Apply risk assessment, loan structuring, and credit grading techniques.
• Manage relationships with C&I and CRE borrowers, understand client needs, and develop lending proposals.
• Partner with Relationship Managers to originate new business and identify cross‑sell opportunities.
• Oversee post‑approval due diligence and loan documentation.
• Maintain a high‑value, quality portfolio and mentor junior team members.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of commercial underwriting and portfolio management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• Strong financial analysis, legal document interpretation, and decision‑making skills.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and advanced Excel.
