About the Department
The Department of Applied Human and Environmental Sciences houses the Anthropology, Human Development, Geology, and Geography, Environment, and Planning undergraduate programs, as well as the Cultural Heritage and Resources Management MS program. Learn more about the department.
Responsibilities
- Teach HDAA 351: Archaeology of Complex Societies as needed on a semester-by-semester basis.
Requirements
- A Master's degree—or equivalent—in a discipline relevant to archaeology and/or anthropology.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in a relevant field (preferred).
- Related teaching experience (preferred).
Pay
Full-time workload is 15 units per semester. Salary is dependent on units assigned, educational preparation, and availability of funds. Anticipated hiring range: $5,507 – $6,677 per full-time month, prorated to the number of units worked. Payments are issued in six monthly installments per full semester.
Schedule
Temporary faculty appointments are made on a part-time, semester-by-semester basis, contingent upon department needs and funding. Appointments do not include relocation assistance or reimbursement for interview expenses.
