About the role
The Poker Supervisor leads the poker team to create continuous improvement in the employee experience and service for guests. This role oversees game protection, integrity, and compliance with internal controls and Illinois Gaming Board regulations.
Responsibilities
- Leads and supports the Poker team to deliver legendary customer service.
- Ensures Poker staff have the training, tools, and mindset to perform as service professionals.
- Drives continuous improvements in the employee experience.
- Maintains operational and game integrity.
- Settles disputes professionally and in a timely manner.
- Handles guest and employee concerns quickly and efficiently.
- Informs the Poker Manager and Surveillance team of irregularities.
- Verifies issuance of credit after all necessary signatures are confirmed.
- Informs Poker Manager of disputes on game.
- Ensures required facilities and equipment are available and functional.
- Guides and instructs assigned personnel in proper performance of duties.
- Reviews and evaluates personnel.
- Initiates fills and credits to a game as necessary.
- Records table inventory when the table opens and after it closes.
- Adheres to IGB regulations, internal controls, and company policies.
- Meets attendance guidelines and adheres to regulatory, departmental, and company policies.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Must obtain and maintain all licenses/certifications per Federal, State, and Illinois Gaming Board standards.
- Must pass a background check.
- Must maintain strict confidentiality regarding financial data and casino policies.
- Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
- Prior experience opening new properties/outlets strongly preferred.
- Well-developed interpersonal skills.
- Must enjoy entertaining and communicating with the public.
- Professional appearance required.
- Must work well with co-workers and be a team player.
- Excellent employee and customer service skills.
Skills
- Excellent math skills while multi-tasking.
- Knowledge of casino rules, procedures, and regulations related to Poker.
- Ability to work flexible shifts and varying schedules as needed.
- Ability to communicate effectively with outside contacts and all levels of team members.
- Ability to work on the Casino floor, which may involve varying levels of crowds and noise.

Pay
Pay Range: $48,000 - $62,400 per year.
