Plumbing Service Manager
About the Role
The Residential Plumbing Service Manager oversees and coordinates all plumbing service operations to ensure efficient, high-quality service delivery across residential and commercial projects. This role is pivotal in managing a team of skilled plumbers, scheduling service calls, and maintaining strong client relationships to drive customer satisfaction and repeat business.

Minimum Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Vocational training or certification in plumbing is required
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in plumbing services, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and safety standards
- A valid driver's license and ability to travel to various job sites within the United States
- Proven ability to manage teams, schedules, and customer service operations effectively
Preferred Qualifications
- An associate degree or higher in construction management, business administration, or a related field
- Experience with plumbing service management software and CRM systems
- Familiarity with budgeting, financial reporting, and procurement processes
- Demonstrated success in process improvement and staff development initiatives
Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the plumbing service team, including scheduling, dispatching, and overseeing service calls
- Supervise, train, and mentor plumbing technicians to maintain high standards of workmanship and customer service
- Develop and implement service procedures and protocols to improve efficiency and quality
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, building codes, and company policies
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve service issues, and maintain strong client relationships to promote customer retention
- Prepare and manage budgets, monitor expenses, and optimize resource allocation for service projects
- Collaborate with sales and procurement teams to ensure availability of necessary materials and equipment
- Analyze service performance metrics and generate reports to inform strategic decisions and continuous improvement
