Plumber - Temp (#020993) Facilities Management, Columbia (RICHLAND)

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, control, supervise, administer, and complete work to ensure competent installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing and related equipment and systems at all institutions and facilities throughout the state.
• Assist with the installation, operation, and maintenance of plumbing and sewage disposal systems.
• Review and approve requisitions and prepare specifications for materials and/or replacements as needed.
• Repair and replace all underground piping, chill water, hot water heating, and water mains, including ductile, carbon steel, PVC, and C900 piping.
• Perform pipe welding and fitting.
• Apply general construction plumbing skills, including roughing, setting fixtures, and minor plumbing repairs.
• Successfully complete four (4) weeks of SCDC Basic Training upon hire.

Requirements

• A high school diploma.
