PLATO Lab Supervisor

Position Purpose

Oversee PLATO computer lab.

Essential Job Functions

• Affords ongoing software support.
• Assists students and teachers in the use of computers.
• Consistent communication with Guidance Department.

Equipment Use

• Standard office equipment including personal computers, printer, copier and fax machines, calculator, and telephone.

Travel Requirements

• Travel to school district buildings and professional meetings as required.

Pay Rate

$16.80 per hour.

Work Schedule

7.25 hours per day, 185 days per year.

• Knowledge and proficiency with computer hardware and software.
• Ability and willingness to learn needed skills.
• Skills in troubleshooting student workstations.
• Strong customer service.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Cooperative in achieving the desired technological goals of the school and district.
• Skills in written and oral communication.
