Plant Utility II

About the role

This position supports daily operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning by assisting and training in multiple areas, including testing, sanding, parts washing, saw operation, and light assembly.

Responsibilities

• Assist in loading and unloading product from production equipment
• Locate and transport material throughout the production facility to assigned processing equipment
• Perform general plant cleanup, painting, and organizational projects
• Load/unload parts washing machine and hand wash parts as needed
• Operate sand blasting equipment to strip and clean parts
• Complete paperwork as required
• Use forklifts and overhead cranes to complete job assignments
• Adhere to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2–3 years of experience
• Basic computer/data entry skills
• Ability to perform repetitive and physically demanding tasks for extended periods (lifting, walking, climbing, pushing, twisting, and stooping)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
