Responsibilities
- Cook up customer orders
- Weight customer trucks, provide tickets, and manage traffic flow
- Coordinate truck dispatches to maximize efficiency
- Verify and process tickets for accuracy, ensuring proper loading
- Perform daily administrative tasks as required
- Prepare month-end closing information for Accounting
- Generate detailed margin and cost statements upon request
- Reconcile time cards for all plant personnel
- Handle guest reception and phone inquiries
- Assume scale clerk duties as needed
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as necessary
- Handle correspondence, reports, and manual preparation
- Collaborate with HR and Safety departments on personnel and safety matters
Qualifications
- Experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or related field preferred
- Fundamental understanding of accounting principles
- Knowledge of standard office practices and procedures
- Proficiency in using computers, cell phones, and office equipment
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with all organizational levels
- Integrity and commitment to company policies and ethical conduct
