Plant Maintenance

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Proficient use of welding equipment and cutting torches.
• Aid in the maintenance of lift trucks and air compressors.

Performance Expectations

• Lifting: 1 to 100 pounds, 0 - 100 times per shift.
• Standing: 1 to 50 times per shift for intervals of 5 minutes to 10 hours.
• Reaching: 1 to 50 times per hour.
• S Stooping: 1 to 20 times per hour for intervals of 1 minute to 1 hour.
• Bending: 1 to 30 times per hour for tools, parts, to do work.
• Operating hand, power, and shop tools: 1 to 50 times per shift.
• Distinguish color shade differences.

Experience/Education Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and write.
• Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication.

Other Requirements

• Overtime may be required on occasion.
• All accidents must be reported immediately.
• Normal mobility, no abnormal fear of heights or confined spaces.
• Valid driver's license required.
