Primary Responsibilities
- Ensure safety and compliance with company and regulatory EH&S policies and procedures.
- Weekly Plant Floor Walks for employee engagement opportunities.
- Aid employees with questions regarding schedules, pay, and benefits (enrollments, changes, etc.).
- Process accurate payroll for salaried and hourly employees using ADP Vantage.
- Maintain employee data in the Workday system.
- Generate and analyze reports in ADP and Workday.
- Provide customer service by quickly addressing employee inquiries.
- Complete and verify Forms I-9 and maintain I-9 documentation and files.
- Track and manage attendance, administer policies, and prepare disciplinary actions in collaboration with supervisors and managers.
- Standardize and maintain HR department files.
- Oversee hourly employee recruiting (internal and external).
- Assist HR Manager in developing and maintaining policies and the employee handbook.
- Directly support employee engagement and retention programs.
- Handle recruiting, interviewing, and hiring of hourly employees.
- Conduct background checks for new hires.
- Facilitate new hire orientation.
- Maintain company bulletin boards with announcements and bids.
- Support leave of absence management, claims processing, and related leaves.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Ability to work extra hours when needed to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
Education And Experience
- Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, or related field.
- Years of Experience: 3+

Physical Demands
- Office: Must be able to frequently remain in a stationary position. Must be able to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
- Manufacturing Setting: Occasional exposure to high noise level and heat. Must be able to walk the Production floor on a weekly basis, on all shifts, to engage with employees.
