Plant Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop 1 to 5 year capital plan with various functions such as Safety, Quality, Operations, Maintenance, Finance.
• Lead capital projects that improve automation, safety, quality, reduce costs, improve production efficiencies, and customer service.
• Provide engineering thought leadership in the fields of automation and production design.
• Think creatively and proactively to support the Plant by providing project and technical support.
• Manage the Utilities team and ensure functionality and compliance within the plant utilities processes such as: Refrigeration, Ammonia, Nitrogen, Steam, Natural Gas and Compressed Air.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Engineering Degree
• 8+ years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in Food manufacturing
• Strategy and Budget planning of multi-million dollar projects
• Ability to collaborate as a member of a senior level innovation think tank
• Continuous Improvement experience required

Pay

• $120,000 - $165,000 + 15% bonus opportunity + 9% 401k match
