About the role

At Niagara, we're seeking a Plant Engineering Manager to join our dynamic and entrepreneurial team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, construction, maintenance, and repair of plant equipment and machinery. They will also establish standards and policies for operating procedures and inspection of maintenance equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Routine facility maintenance duties including plant electrical infrastructure, chilled water systems, HVAC and air exchange systems, facility structural maintenance compressed air systems and water farm systems.
  • Develop monitoring systems which will evaluate the health of facility maintenance.
  • Coordinate all preventative maintenance systems through in plant labor and outside services.
  • Manage technicians as assigned to accomplish engineering department tasks.
  • Perform technician tasks as needed to ensure ongoing positive operation of the facility, including: maintain product water and mineral injection systems, filtration, CIP tasks, ozone, filler sanitation, batching support and the like.
  • Drive cost-savings projects and other projects as assigned to accomplish company strategies.
  • Drive to continuously improve safety behaviors, environment and culture. Be a vocal safety advocate in all plant management meetings and initiatives.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in field or similar manufacturing environment.

  • Minimum Required: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or other related field.

Typical Compensation Range

Pay Rate Type: Salary
$118,265.81 - $168,528.81 / Yearly
Bonus Target: 15% Annual
