Plant Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Establish standards and policies for operating procedures and inspection of maintenance equipment.
• Perform routine facility maintenance duties including plant electrical infrastructure, chilled water systems, HVAC and air exchange systems, facility structural maintenance, compressed air systems, and water farm systems.
• Develop monitoring systems to evaluate the health of facility maintenance.
• Coordinate all preventative maintenance systems through in-plant labor and outside services.
• Manage technicians as assigned to accomplish engineering department tasks.
• Perform technician tasks as needed to ensure ongoing positive operation of the facility, including maintaining product water and mineral injection systems, filtration, CIP tasks, ozone, filler sanitation, batching support, and related duties.
• Assist with implementation of corporate projects, data collection initiatives, and plant task assignments in areas needing evaluation and corrective action.
• Drive cost-savings projects and other projects to accomplish company strategies.
• Ensure overall plant safety by being an active advocate for team member safety, continuously improving safety behaviors, environment, and culture, and serving as a vocal safety advocate in all plant management meetings and initiatives.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in the position.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience managing people/projects; experience may include a combination of work experience and education.

• 10+ years of experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment.

Education

• Minimum required: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or other related field.
• Preferred: Master's Degree in Engineering or other related field.
