About the role

Perform diversified functions relative to Administrator Role for the plant. Ensure that all inbound and outbound loads are recorded accurately, schedule outbound loads, resolves issues, timely processing of invoices to vendors and works closely with Plant Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Create POs, as it relates to all plant expenses and Goods Receipt them to ensure expense is recorded properly.
  • Code invoices with correct g/l account and cost center.
  • Process all invoices through Open Text to ensure timely payments to vendors.
  • Research and solve any discrepancies in system regarding invoices or any other issues.
  • Ensure bills of lading and other required paperwork are correctly filled out and accompany truck or products
  • Assist the scale administrator with any questions on inbound or outbound loads
  • Track daily receipts.
  • Schedule loads to ship out of plant
  • Track inventory to ensure what is scheduled can be fulfilled, also will be responsible for reporting month end inventory and completing the waste calculation spreadsheet
  • Resolve issues as they arise on loads that are shipped and rejected
  • Resolve issues as they arise on loads that are received at plant
  • Manage recording all inbound and outbound loads ensuring they have been recorded in the appropriate logs and entered in the system.
  • Manage the reconciliation process for loads being received in the plant and loads being shipped out.
  • Run various reports as it relates to materials coming into the plant, being shipped out of plant and expenses that are related to plant operations.
  • Ensure that Plant Administrator Scale Clerk is cross trained.
  • Must be able to work in manufacturing/plant environment
  • Follow all company policies per Employee Handbook & Code of Conduct.
  • Follow all company safety guidelines.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
  • Prepares reports
  • Knowledge of accounting standards, conventions and principles is a must
  • Perform such other accounting, financial, or administrative tasks as may be required from time to time

Requirements

  • Pursuing an Advanced Degree with a minimum of 2 years completed or has completed an associate's degree or higher. Certificate programs may be considered.
  • Strong working knowledge of the use and application of Microsoft Office suite software products.
  • Demonstrated superior oral and written communication skills and the ability to listen carefully to others obtain clarification and speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations
  • Demonstrated accuracy, thoroughness and attention to detail
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed.
  • Must be able to travel when deemed necessary.
  • Must be able to work with little to no supervision.
  • Must be at least age 18 years of age due to nature of working environment.
