Piping Drafter I

About the role

Audubon is seeking a Piping Drafter to join our team in Metairie, LA. The role involves producing drawings using AutoCAD based on redlines from designers and engineers.

Responsibilities

• Produce drawings from redlines received from designers and engineers.
• Clarify instructions with designers and engineers when drawing markups or verbal instructions are unclear.
• Perform field data gathering when requested by supervisor or manager.
• Maintain awareness of task schedule and budget.
• Comply with all company and client health, safety, security, and environmental (HSSE) standards, as well as federal and local HSSE regulations.
• Actively participate in company and client hazard identification and observation programs.
• Immediately report any unsafe acts, conditions, or incidents to your supervisor.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Completion of 1 year of coursework toward an Associate’s Degree from a Technical Institution.
• AutoCAD software experience required.
• CADWorx software experience preferred.
