Piping Draftsman
Responsibilities
- Schedule work assignments while providing guidance, training, and assistance to designers, checkers, and drafters on small to medium-sized projects.
- Manage a segment of a project under the direction of the assigned Group Supervisor.
- Cook with client and construction personnel to ensure the client's input and job requirements are adequately addressed and implemented consistently with contractual requirements.
- Aid in the preparation of engineering and construction estimates, as well as additional documentation related to a project.
- Estimate project design and drafting manpower requirements.
- Approve final drawings to ensure conformity with applicable codes, specifications, and established discipline standards.
- Maintain engineering document indices and drafting progress reports on projects.
- Confirm checking and approval for all vendor shop drawings.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- A High School diploma or Associates Degree with adequate drafting courses.
- Ability to communicate in person, via telephone, email, and demonstrate manual dexterity.

- The work will primarily be conducted in a general office environment, functioning in a fast-paced setting.
- Occasionally, work will be required in an industrial location where noise levels will be moderate to high.
- The environment will involve people standing, walking, sitting, signaling, and talking, with noise levels that may include bells, whistles, and alarms.

Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $40.00/hr.
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Piping Draftsman who will be responsible for implementing assignments and activities delegated by the Group Supervisor. You will execute project objectives by collaborating with drafters, designers, engineers, and support personnel in planning, scheduling, quality control, and execution of projects. Your role will involve managing the completion of all required deliverables, including construction drawings, design studies, and bills of materials.
