Responsibilities
- Perform high-precision pipe welding on Stainless Steel and Copper-Nickel using Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW/TIG).
- Weld using additional processes including Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) and Flux-Core Arc Welding (FCAW).
- Work from drawings, specifications, and welding procedures to ensure structural integrity and system reliability.
- Support ship construction in a 24/7 manufacturing environment, including working at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions.
- Maintain safety standards that meet — and often exceed — industry requirements.
Qualifications
- Proven, hands-on pipe welding experience with TIG/GTAW as a primary process.
- Ability to weld Stainless Steel and Copper-Nickel to exact specifications.
- Skill in SMAW and FCAW processes.
- Strong commitment to quality, precision, and craftsmanship.
- Minimum 2 years of pipe welding experience.
