Pipe Welder - Skilled
The Role
Perform high-precision pipe welding on Stainless Steel and Copper-Nickel using Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW/TIG).
Weld using additional processes including Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW) and Flux-Core Arc Welding (FCAW).
Work from drawings, specifications, and welding procedures to ensure structural integrity and system reliability.
Support ship construction in a 24/7 manufacturing environment, including working at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions.
Maintain safety standards that meet — and often exceed — industry requirements.
What You Can Earn
Earn up to $39.46 per hour, depending on experience and skill level.

What You’ll Do

What You Bring
- Proven, hands-on pipe welding experience with TIG/GTAW as a primary process
- Ability to weld Stainless Steel and Copper-Nickel to exact specifications
- Skill in SMAW and FCAW processes
- Ability to work safely in complex shipyard environments
- Strong commitment to quality, precision, and craftsmanship
Must Have
- Minimum 2 years of pipe welding experience.
Nice to Have
- Mississippi Tech Master Certification
