About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks including but not limited to: independent work, team collaboration, adherence to company policies, and maintaining a professional work environment.
Responsibilities
- Work independently and within a team environment
- Achieve good attendance
- Have extensive experience in MIG & TIG welding (certifications preferred)
- Be proficient with various fabrication machinery such as brakes, shears, spot welders, swaging and beading machines, rollers, iron workers, drill presses, and hand tools
- Read and interpret blueprints using critical thinking skills
- Prioritize workload and follow directions
- Be willing to work overtime as needed
- Willingness to learn new skills and cross-train in different job functions
- Maintain a neat and orderly work environment
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Pass the welding test
Qualifications
- Experience in MIG & TIG welding
- Proficiency with fabrication machinery
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Good attendance record
- Ability to prioritize work and follow directions
- Willingness to work overtime
- Willingness to learn new skills and cross-train
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs
