About the role

Join us as a Pipe Stress Engineer and work on projects that enable the heart of our clients’ business, including state-of-the-art industrial and commercial facilities. You’ll be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks while gaining familiarity with client expectations, scope, budget, and schedule. Your multi-discipline, highly interactive team will develop and design a variety of equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial and industrial projects. This role can be fully remote from anywhere in the US or Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Perform pipe stress analysis and support design.
  • Apply piping codes and standards (ASME, ANSI, API).
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to develop and design engineering solutions.
  • Ensure technical quality and adherence to project scope, budget, and schedule.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • At least 2 years of engineering experience.
  • Knowledge of pipe stress analysis and support design.
  • Familiarity with piping codes and standards (ASME, ANSI, API).
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with pipe stress analysis software such as AutoPIPE and Caesar II.
  • Experience with design tools such as Navisworks and AutoCAD.
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
  • Forward-thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas.
  • Ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $69,500.00 to $95,500.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
