About the role
We are seeking a Pipe Stress Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves working on projects that are vital to our clients' businesses, including state-of-the-art industrial and commercial facilities.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks
- Gain familiarity with client expectations, scope, budget, and schedule
- Develop and design a variety of equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial and industrial projects
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- At least 5 years of relevant engineering experience
- At least 2 years of experience in pipe stress analysis and support design
- Engineer in Training (EIT)
- Proficient in pipe stress analysis software such as AutoPIPE and Caesar II
- Proficient with finite element analysis (FEA) and associated software such as FE-Pipe and NozzlePro
- Strong understanding of piping codes and standards (ASME, ANSI, API)
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Qualifications
- Advanced experience with AutoPIPE
- Working knowledge of plastic pipe design and analysis
- Working knowledge with design tools such as Navisworks and AutoCAD
- Forward-thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas
- Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams
- Passion for buildings and construction

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
