About the role

Join us as a Pipe Stress Engineer and work on projects that enable the heart of our clients’ business, including state-of-the-art industrial and commercial facilities. You’ll be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks while gaining familiarity with client expectations, scope, budget, and schedule. Your multi-discipline, highly interactive team will develop and design a variety of equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial and industrial projects.

This role can be fully remote from anywhere in the US or Canada.

Responsibilities

  • Perform pipe stress analysis and support design.
  • Develop and design equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial and industrial projects.
  • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
  • Apply piping codes and standards (ASME, ANSI, API) in design and analysis.
  • Utilize pipe stress analysis software (e.g., AutoPIPE, Caesar II) and finite element analysis (FEA) tools (e.g., FE-Pipe, NozzlePro).
  • Maintain strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to meet project requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant engineering experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in pipe stress analysis and support design.
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
  • Proficiency in pipe stress analysis software (AutoPIPE, Caesar II) and finite element analysis (FEA) tools (e.g., FE-Pipe, NozzlePro).
  • Strong understanding of piping codes and standards (ASME, ANSI, API).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Advanced experience with AutoPIPE.
  • Working knowledge of plastic pipe design and analysis.
  • Familiarity with design tools such as Navisworks and AutoCAD.
  • Forward-thinking mindset with eagerness to learn best practices and contribute innovative ideas.
  • Ability to learn quickly and broaden knowledge base.
  • Passion for buildings and construction.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $85,000.00 to $116,800.00. Individual pay within this range is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
