Pipe Fitter / Sprinkler Technician

About the role

Fire Protection Company seeks experienced sprinkler fitters for immediate hire. Applicants should have working knowledge of fire sprinkler systems and standpipe installation, troubleshooting, and repair. Threading, grooving, and installing black steel and galvanized pipe and mechanical fittings. Able to read blueprints. Strong communication skills, both verbally and written.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, and service fire protection equipment
• Provide design, installation, service, repair, and consultation for commercial & residential services
• Read blueprints and troubleshoot and repair fire sprinkler systems and standpipes
• Thread, groove, and install black steel and galvanized pipe and mechanical fittings

Requirements

• Working knowledge of fire sprinkler systems and standpipe installation
• Strong communication skills, both verbally and written
• Clean driver’s license required

Qualifications

• Experience in fire sprinkler systems and standpipe installation
• Ability to read blueprints and troubleshoot and repair fire sprinkler systems and standpipes
• Proficiency in threading, grooving, and installing black steel and galvanized pipe and mechanical fittings
