Sprinkler Construction Fitter

Job Responsibilities

• Aid the foreman with the installation, service, and troubleshooting of automatic fire sprinkler systems and related equipment.
• Assist with the installation of fire sprinkler systems in various types of buildings including residential, commercial, and industrial structures.
• Learn and use project drawings to accurately interpret and install sprinkler system requirements.
• Thread and groove pipe, cut hanger rods, climb ladders, hang pipe, read blueprints, lay out, keep a clean work area, and use appropriate equipment such as tools, lifts, etc.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Follow daily safety protocols, ensuring timely and complete submission of JSAs, Toolbox Talks, audit forms, etc.
• Report incidents and accidents promptly and accurately, hold oneself accountable for safety initiatives, and ensure safe driving of company vehicles.
• Support the implementation of Stop Work Authority, complete training requirements, submit accurate timesheets, ensure proper inventory management, maintain equipment, keep jobsites clean, and communicate effectively.
• Maintain quality control, reduce the need for return trips and warranty work, and maintain a professional appearance.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers, actively participate in required team meetings, and demonstrate teamwork and positive interactions.
