Sprinkler Technician

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair irrigation system problems
Perform spring startups and system activations
Complete fall blowouts and winterizations
Repair sprinkler heads, valves, pipes, controllers, and wiring
Program and troubleshoot irrigation timers/controllers
Locate leaks and perform line repairs
Adjust heads and zones for proper coverage
Perform system efficiency checks
Document work completed and materials used
Communicate findings and recommendations to customers

Requirements

Mechanical and troubleshooting skills
Ability to use hand tools and power tools
Valid driver’s license with clean record
Ability to lift 50+ pounds
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather
Basic smartphone/tablet skills for job tracking
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Strong work ethic and professionalism
Good customer communication skills

Qualifications

Landscape or plumbing experience
Controller programming experience
Field service or route experience
