About the role

Responsible for providing high-quality nursing care in a primary, walk-in, or specialty care setting, ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement patient care based on nursing curriculum and protocols.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately.
• Monitor patient conditions and document findings appropriately.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and CDC guidelines, including proper use of PPE.
• Assist with patient mobility and potential lifting needs.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum of 1 year healthcare experience demonstrating proficiency in core nursing skills.
• Preferred experience in walk-in, primary, or specialty care settings.
• Current NY State RN license.
• CPR certification within one week of employment.
• Strong communication, assessment, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Work Environment

Office setting with exposure to cleaning solutions, frequent interruptions, and physical activity including walking, standing, bending, and lifting patients. May involve multi-level access and use of PPE.
