Physician - Pediatric Gastroenterologist
Job Summary
The University of Kentucky College of Medicine is seeking a faculty member to provide pediatric Gastroenterology services at the University of Kentucky Medical Center, Kentucky Children’s Hospital, and outreach locations through joint clinical services agreements with the department of Pediatrics and facilities primarily located in Lexington and surrounding counties. This position will be responsible for providing clinical services in the clinics, inpatient service, and the on-call service. In addition, this position will provide teaching services to the Department’s courses and with resident training. The faculty member will also collaborate on research activities for clinical projects and care reports, as well as participate in professional development activities such as regional, state, and national meetings.

- Strong clinical skills in pediatric gastroenterology
- Ability to teach medical students and residents
- Experience with research and publication
Preferred Education/Experience
- MD, DO, or equivalent degree
- Minimum residency training in pediatrics and gastroenterology
- Eligibility for or license to practice medicine in the state of Kentucky
- American Board of Pediatrics and sub-board of Pediatric GI certification or eligibility

Pay
The salary range for this position is $200,000 - $250,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
