About the role

Sanford Children’s Hospital and Sanford School of Medicine at the University of SD are seeking a full-time BC/BE Pediatric Gastroenterologist.

The opportunity is best suited for the physician desiring a clinical practice in an academic setting, with research being optional.

Dietitians, social workers, CT and Speech Therapy with expertise in feeding, and Integrated Health Therapists are available in the clinic.

The specialty clinic includes 80+ physicians with essentially all Pediatric sub-specialties represented, including a Hospitalist Service.

Sanford Children's Hospital has 146 beds and is the only free-standing children's hospital in the state of SD.

Opportunities exist for teaching pediatric residents and medical students as well as involvement in committees and leadership.

Endoscopy procedures are done in the OR with anesthesia support.
