About the role

Join 6 experienced gastroenterologists in a well-established pediatric GI program.

Supportive team includes 2 dietitians and 1 physician assistant.

State-of-the-art GI labs with highly experienced clinical staff.

Clinical scope includes ambulatory care, inpatient care, consultative services, and GI procedures.

Experience with clinical nutrition and motility desirable but not required.

Academic role includes supervision and education of medical students, residents, and fellows.

Clinical research support available through an on-site research center.

Responsibilities

• Support 6 experienced gastroenterologists in a well-established pediatric GI program.
• Collaborate with 2 dietitians and 1 physician assistant.
• Work in state-of-the-art GI labs with highly experienced clinical staff.
• Provide clinical care including ambulatory care, inpatient care, consultative services, and GI procedures.
• Supervise and educate medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Contribute to clinical research through an on-site research center.

Requirements

• Desirable but not required: Experience with clinical nutrition and motility.
• MD or DO degree.
• Board certification in Pediatrics and Gastroenterology.
• Current license to practice medicine in the state of Texas.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Interest in academic medicine and teaching.

• Excellent clinical skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Research and teaching experience preferred.
