Physician or Physician Scientist Section Director, Womens Cardiovascular Health (Open Rank/Track Faculty)

About the role

The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine is seeking a dynamic and accomplished board-certified/board-eligible cardiologist physician/physician scientist to serve as Section Director of Women’s Cardiovascular Health. The Section Director provides senior leadership for the clinical, academic, operational, and strategic direction of the Women’s Cardiovascular Health program.

Responsibilities

  • Advancing high-quality patient care, faculty development, education, research, program growth, and multidisciplinary collaboration across the cardiovascular enterprise.
  • Focusing on expanding the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular patients to support robust inpatient and outpatient programs in a world-class facility at the Richard M. Ross Heart Hospital and The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.

Requirements

  • Board Eligible/Certified
  • Successful completion of a US accredited Cardiovascular Medicine fellowship
  • Minimum of 5–10 years of clinical experience in cardiology, with emphasis in women’s cardiovascular health
  • Eligible for an Ohio license
  • Clinical or translational research experience preferred
  • Qualify for an academic appointment at The Ohio State University
