About the role
The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine is seeking a visionary and accomplished cardiologist to serve as Section Director of Preventive and Cardiometabolic Cardiology.
Responsibilities
- Expand and direct a multidisciplinary program at the intersection of cardiovascular disease prevention, metabolic health, and cardiometabolic medicine.
- Oversee clinical operations, develop innovative care models, advance education and training, and drive scholarly activity in this rapidly evolving field.
- Combine deep clinical expertise in preventive cardiology and cardiometabolic disease with proven leadership ability and a passion for integrated, patient-centered care.
Requirements
- Board Eligible/Certified
- Successful completion of a US accredited Cardiovascular Medicine fellowship
- Advanced training in Preventative Cardiology or Lipidology
- Minimum of 5–10 years of clinical experience in cardiology practice
- Eligible for an Ohio license
- Clinical or translational research experience preferred
- Qualify for an academic appointment at The Ohio State University
