Physician or Physician Scientist Preventive and Cardiometabolic Cardiology Section Director (Open Rank/Track Faculty)

About the role

The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine is seeking a visionary and accomplished cardiologist to serve as Section Director of Preventive and Cardiometabolic Cardiology.

Responsibilities

• Expand and direct a multidisciplinary program at the intersection of cardiovascular disease prevention, metabolic health, and cardiometabolic medicine.
• Oversee clinical operations, develop innovative care models, advance education and training, and drive scholarly activity in this rapidly evolving field.
• Combine deep clinical expertise in preventive cardiology and cardiometabolic disease with proven leadership ability and a passion for integrated, patient-centered care.

Requirements

• Board Eligible/Certified
• Successful completion of a US accredited Cardiovascular Medicine fellowship
• Advanced training in Preventative Cardiology or Lipidology
• Minimum of 5–10 years of clinical experience in cardiology practice
• Eligible for an Ohio license
• Clinical or translational research experience preferred
• Qualify for an academic appointment at The Ohio State University

Pay
