Physician or Physician Scientist - Cardiovascular Medicine, Director, Advanced Heart Failure and Cardiac Transplant (Open Rank/Track Faculty)
Position Overview
The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine seeks a board-certified/board-eligible heart failure and transplant physician/physician scientist at the associate professor or professor rank to lead an elite team of academic physicians. Responsibilities include expanding outpatient and inpatient services at the nationally recognized Richard M. Ross Heart Hospital and The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, advancing heart failure research, and mentoring junior faculty and trainees.
Requirements
- Board Eligible/Certified
- Successful completion of a US accredited cardiology fellowship
- Eligible for an Ohio License
- Clinical or Translational Research experience preferred
- Qualify for an academic appointment at The Ohio State University – Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with previous training and experience
Qualifications
- Completed MD or equivalent terminal degree
- Eligible for an Ohio License
- Experience in clinical or translational research

The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine comprises over 60 cardiologists with focus areas including general cardiology, interventional, electrophysiology, adult congenital heart disease, heart failure, heart transplantation, mechanical circulatory assist, pulmonary vascular disease, women’s cardiovascular disease, cardiac MRI/CT, and cardio-oncology.
