About the role

Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Ophthalmologist. The position is based in Covington, Louisiana and offers high volume cataract surgery opportunities.

Responsibilities

• High Volume of Cataract Surgery Opportunities
• Centurion phacoemulsification machines
• Zeiss Lumera Operating Microscope available
• Catalys available
• Heidelberg OCT, Optos Retinal Imaging, LenStar, Zeiss HVF
• Shared call rotation
• Integrated practice model with strong, internal referral network
• Support available from specialists throughout the Ochsner Health System
• EPIC medical record platform utilized throughout the Ochsner Health System

Requirements

Experience in general ophthalmology and anterior segment desired but not required. Corneal/Refractive surgery interest is welcome.

Qualifications

Must be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Ophthalmology.

Skills

Strong surgical skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment.
