Physician - Ophthalmology

About the role

Sanford’s Eye Service Department currently includes 2 ophthalmologists, 6 optometrists, opticians and 2 onsite retail optical stores. This clinic-based practice is varied, challenging and rewarding with a large base of referring physicians and optometrists.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive eye care services to patients
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure patient care coordination
• Conduct routine and specialized eye examinations
• Treat a variety of ocular conditions and diseases
• Participate in continuing medical education and professional development

Requirements

• Board certification or eligibility in ophthalmology
• Licensed to practice medicine in the State of North Dakota

Qualifications

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Completion of an accredited ophthalmology residency program

Skills

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong clinical skills and decision-making abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
