Key Responsibilities

• Detect and treat a variety of eye conditions, including cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy.
• Perform surgical procedures such as cataract surgery, LASIK, and other vision correction surgeries.
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative care for surgical patients.
• Participate in community outreach and education programs.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an ophthalmology residency program.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology.
• Valid Tennessee medical license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
