About the role
A Comprehensive Ophthalmologist is responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with glaucoma, including performing comprehensive eye exams, developing treatment plans, and monitoring patient progress.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive eye exams, including measuring eye pressure, examining the optic nerve, and testing visual fields.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, which may include medication, laser therapy, or surgery.
- Monitor patients' progress over time and collaborate with other eye care professionals.
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- Completion of an ophthalmology residency program.
- Valid medical license in the state of California.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.

- Expertise in diagnosing and treating glaucoma.
