About the role

A Comprehensive Ophthalmologist is responsible for diagnosing and treating patients with glaucoma, including performing comprehensive eye exams, developing treatment plans, and monitoring patient progress.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye exams, including measuring eye pressure, examining the optic nerve, and testing visual fields.
• Develop and implement treatment plans, which may include medication, laser therapy, or surgery.
• Monitor patients' progress over time and collaborate with other eye care professionals.

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
• Completion of an ophthalmology residency program.
• Valid medical license in the state of California.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
