Physician - OB/GYN

About the role

Valley Medical Group, part of Valley Health System in Paramus, New Jersey, is seeking OB/GYN physicians to join our growing practices. These opportunities will be based out of our Wayne and Ridgewood offices with an anticipated call schedule of 1 in 7.

Responsibilities

• Mentor our second class of residents in the Valley Health System-Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai OB/GYN Residency program
• Hold the title of Clinical Assistant Professor for our residency program
• Work alongside the Valley Hospital Fertility Center, Breast Imaging Center, Heart Care for Women, Gynecology Surgery, Urogynecology, and Fibroid Center to represent Women's Health

Qualifications

• An MD or DO
• Successfully completed residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Board eligible or certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Existing or eligible for New Jersey Medical License, DEA, and CDS

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to advance and develop a superior clinical service
• Excellent interpersonal communication and presentation skills for both clinical and non-clinical audiences, in group settings or one-on-one
• Expertise in establishing physician relationships combined with the ability to manage an interdisciplinary team while appreciating and fostering collegial and peer participation from all disciplines
• Effective supervisory skills, including clinical mentoring and coaching expertise
• Advocate for organizational values and commitment to gender equity and diversity

Pay & Benefits

• Salary range of $300,000 - $310,000
