Physician Fellow - Emergency Medicine Ultrasound Fellowship - Kaweah Health Medical Center

The Opportunity

Seeking highly competitive and motivated candidates with strong interest in bolstering their ultrasound skills.

One (1) year ultrasound fellowship, available for the 2025-2026 academic year.

• Dedicated hours to image acquisition, interpretation, and clinical integration at Kaweah Health Medical Center
• Participation in local, regional, national, and international ultrasound courses
• Exposure to leadership at all levels

Required Experience And Competencies

• Graduate of an accredited Emergency Medicine residency program
• Board Certified/Eligible in Emergency Medicine
• Able to obtain a CA state medical license
• Interest in ultrasound education

• Hybrid community and academic medical center serving a diverse patient population
• ED has a strong EM residency, is an ACS Verified Level III Trauma Center, an Advanced Primary Stroke Center, and an AHA STEMI Receiving Center
• 74-bed Emergency Department with 95,000 annual visits
• 24/7 trauma, IR, and neurosurgical services
• 24/7 case management, social work, and in-house interpreters
• Kaweah Health Medical Center operates an ACGME accredited 3-year EM residency with 18 residents per year, ACGME accredited Sim/US/Education/Admin EM fellowships, and an AP fellowship program, taking rolling admission with up to 4 AP fellows per year
