About the role

VPA is seeking physicians in the Williamsburg, VA area to join our team. This position offers competitive base salary and aggressive quarterly incentive pay.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality, patient-centered care in a home setting
• Provide comprehensive care for patients with complex medical needs
• Collaborate with a medical assistant and patient care coordinator
• Participate in ongoing professional development through CME and license/association dues stipend
• Utilize a web-based EHR for clinical documentation
• Benefit from minimal call responsibilities and flexible scheduling
• Enjoy quality, face-to-face interactions with patients and families

Requirements

• Medical degree from an accredited institution
• Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• At least 3 years of experience in home-based primary care
• Experience with value-based healthcare initiatives and clinically integrated networks
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Qualifications

• Passing score on the National Board of Medical Examiners (NBME)
• Current Virginia Medical License
• Compliant with all state and federal regulations
