Position highlights

• Work with other physicians in teams but manage your own panel of patients Monday-Friday
• Flexible scheduling options available
• Patient population is an adult panel of all ages including geriatrics and some older adolescents and can be customized for interest areas
• Seniors have the convenience of our new Lifestyle Centers
• Work in attractive/modern buildings and enjoy an electronic medical record environment
• Full time management staff, digital radiology and onsite laboratory services at our 14 clinic locations throughout the Las Vegas area
• Employed practice position with Southwest Medical

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care that is compassionate, appropriate and effective for the treatment of health problems and the promotion of health
• Work with professionalism, as manifested through a commitment to carrying out professional responsibilities, adherence to ethical principles, and sensitivity to a diverse patient population
• Practice within a systems-based practice, as manifested by actions that demonstrate an awareness of and responsiveness to the larger context and system of health care and the ability to effectively call on system resources to provide care that is of optimal value

Required qualifications

• Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Residency trained, board certified or board eligible
• Ability to obtain Nevada license, DEA, Pharmacy license
• Medical knowledge about established and evolving biomedical, clinical, epidemiological and social behavioral sciences and application of this knowledge to patient care
• Interpersonal and communication skills that result in effective information exchange and collaboration with patients, their families and other health professionals
• Possession of or acquisition of sufficient computer skills to effectively utilize Electronic Medical Records in their practice
• Practice-based learning and improvement that involves investigation and evaluation of their own patient care, appraisal and assimilation of scientific evidence and improvements in patient care

• Salary range: $245,000 to $366,000 annually based on full-time employment (pay based on several factors including local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc.)
