This is an employed practice position with Southwest Medical, part of Optum. Compensation & Benefits

  • $245,000 – $366,000 base salary annually (full-time)

Qualifications

  • Family Medicine or Internal Medicine residency trained, board certified or board eligible
  • Ability to obtain Nevada medical license, DEA, and pharmacy license
  • Strong medical knowledge of established and evolving biomedical, clinical, epidemiological, and social-behavioral sciences and application to patient care
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills for exchanging information and collaborating with patients, families, and health professionals
  • Sufficient computer skills to utilize Electronic Medical Records effectively
  • Commitment to practice-based learning and improvement through self-evaluation, evidence appraisal, and patient-care improvements
