About the role
This is an employed practice position with Southwest Medical. Patient care is compassionate, appropriate, and effective for the treatment of health problems and the promotion of health. The role operates within a systems-based practice that demonstrates awareness of and responsiveness to the larger context and system of health care and the ability to effectively call on system resources to provide care of optimal value.
Compensation & Benefits
- $245,000 – $366,000 base salary annually (full-time)
- $100,000 sign-on bonus for external candidates

Required Qualifications
- Family Medicine or Internal Medicine residency trained; board certified or board eligible
- Ability to obtain Nevada medical license, DEA, and pharmacy license
- Medical knowledge of established and evolving biomedical, clinical, epidemiological, and social-behavioral sciences and application to patient care
- Interpersonal and communication skills resulting in effective information exchange and collaboration with patients, families, and health professionals
- Sufficient computer skills to effectively utilize electronic medical records
- Practice-based learning and improvement through investigation and evaluation of patient care, appraisal and assimilation of scientific evidence, and implementation of improvements
