Optum is seeking a Family Practice Physician to join our clinician-led care organization in Las Vegas, NV. Responsibilities
- Manage your own panel of adult patients, including geriatrics and older adolescents, with customizable interest areas.
- Work in teams with other physicians in a Monday-Friday schedule.
- Provide compassionate, appropriate, and effective patient care for health problems and health promotion.
- Demonstrate professionalism through adherence to ethical principles and sensitivity to a diverse patient population.
- Practice systems-based care, utilizing resources to provide optimal value.
Qualifications
- Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Residency trained.
- Board certified or board eligible; ability to obtain Nevada medical license, DEA, and Pharmacy license.
- Medical knowledge of biomedical, clinical, epidemiological, and social-behavioral sciences and their application to patient care.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with patients, families, and health professionals.
- Proficiency in practice-based learning, including evaluation of patient care and assimilation of scientific evidence.
- Sufficient computer skills to effectively utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR).

Pay
The salary range for this role is $245,000 to $366,000 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is determined by factors such as local labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications.

- Monday-Friday schedule with flexible options.
