The Department of Radiology at The Ohio State University College of Medicine/Wexner Medical Center is seeking candidates for faculty positions in Interventional Medicine who are passionate about collaborative, patient-centered clinical excellence, dedicated to advancing research and innovation, committed to education, and inspire inclusivity.

The Ohio State University Department of Radiology is experiencing significant growth across its research, education, and clinical missions, positioning it as a national leader in imaging innovation and care delivery.

  • Serves as a cornerstone of this advancement, bringing together multidisciplinary teams to accelerate translational research in MRI, CT, and PET imaging.
  • Supports an expanding focus on artificial intelligence—supported by Ohio State’s designation as an ACR Recognized Center for Healthcare-AI (ARCH-AI).
  • Continues to strengthen its educational programs through a comprehensive portfolio of residencies and subspecialty fellowships.
  • Extends its reach through new ambulatory care centers in New Albany, Dublin, and Powell, alongside established imaging sites across the region.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Contributes to the day-to-day clinical operations of the Interventional Radiology Division of the Department of Radiology.
  • Provides high-quality patient care as related to the Interventional Radiology Service.
  • Contributes to clinical and imaging operations as related to the Interventional Radiology Service.
  • Education, Training, and Faculty Development:
    • Conducts and provides clinical instruction, lectures, seminars, and related educational offerings, both within OSUWMC and at the regional and national level.
    • Collaborates with faculty and leadership in the Division to develop and refine medical student, resident, and fellow training opportunities.
    • Serves as a mentor and sponsor of residents, fellows, and faculty in the Department.
  • Research and Scholarship:
    • Supports clinical and translational research activities and innovation.
    • May serve as PI or Co-I in grants and/or clinical trials.
    • Serves on Department, OSUCOM, or OSUWMC committees to represent the research and innovation interests of the Department, as appropriate.

Requirements

  • M.D., D.O, or foreign equivalent
  • Board eligible or board certified in Interventional Radiology (ABR)
  • Completion of Interventional Radiology Integrated or Independent Residency or Fellowship in Interventional Radiology by time of appointment.
  • Must possess or be eligible for licensure in the State of Ohio

  • Salary: Commensurate with experience level, Bonus, Relocation Assistance
