Physician Assistant (PA) - Locum Tenens

About the Role

We are seeking a Board Certified physician with an active North Carolina license for a plastics and reconstructive surgery position. This role involves a mix of inpatient and telehealth responsibilities in a Level 1 Trauma facility.

Responsibilities

• Rounding on post-surgical patients (70% of duties) in an inpatient setting with 5 beds
• Conducting inpatient consults for facial trauma
• Providing telehealth consults for outside institutions regarding facial trauma (30% of duties)

The role averages 12 patients per shift, with work split between inpatient and telehealth settings.

Requirements

• Board certification in plastics and reconstructive surgery
• Active North Carolina medical license
• Experience in plastics and reconstructive surgery
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR
