About the Role
Provides plastics and reconstructive surgery services in inpatient and telehealth settings.
Responsibilities
- Rounds on post-surgical patients (70% of workload)
- Manages inpatient consults for facial trauma (30% of workload), including telehealth consultations for outside institutions
Patient load: average of 12 patients per shift in a Level 1 Trauma department with 5 beds.
Requirements
- Board Certified in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery
- Active North Carolina medical license
- Experience in plastics and reconstructive surgery
- Proficiency with EPIC EMR
