About the role
McLeod Orthopaedics Florence is seeking a Physician Assistant to maintain a professional image and exhibit excellent customer relations to patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers in accordance with Service Excellence Standards and Core Values.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs based on data collected through history, observation, physical examination, and analysis of diagnostic data.
- Record physical findings and formulate plans and prognosis based on patient's condition.
- Plan, implement, and coordinate care to meet the holistic age-specific needs of patients.
- Foster an environment that demonstrates caring, compassion, and respect for all patients, families, and visitors.
- Demonstrate professionalism and integrity.
- Perform physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines and physician instructions.
- Discuss cases with physicians and other healthcare professionals to prepare comprehensive patient care plans.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies required.
- State of South Carolina Certification as Physician Assistant.
- Prescriptive privileges or eligibility to apply.
