Physician Assistant, Onsite PRN

About the role

The Onsite Physician Assistant is needed for a PRN position at our client's site in Bronx, NY. This role offers the opportunity to provide direct patient care, manage chronic conditions, and ensure the highest quality healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Spend 100% of time in the onsite clinic providing direct patient care.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to achieve optimal clinical outcomes.
• Maintain and update patient records and paperwork.
• Administer or order diagnostic tests and therapeutic procedures.
• Interpret diagnostic test results and counsel patients on health maintenance.
• Develop and present educational programs.
• Handle sensitive information according to HIPAA and company policies.
• Participate in continuing medical education.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in a related health field.
• Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program.
• PAS certification and current state licensure.
• At least 3 years of experience in occupational medicine, urgent care, or emergency settings.
