Physician Assistant, Onsite - PRN
About the role
We are seeking a highly experienced and mission-driven Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our team at our client's on-site Occupational Medicine practice. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience as a PA/NP in an urgent care/occupational medicine setting and will be DOT-certified.
Responsibilities
- Spending 100% of time in the onsite clinic providing direct patient care, leading by example, and creating an exceptional patient experience.
- Ensuring day-to-day execution of Concentra's clinical model, collaborating with members of the healthcare team to drive optimal clinical outcomes.
- Maintaining timely, accurate, and detailed patient records and paperwork.
- Interpreting diagnostic test results for deviations from normal.
- Administering or ordering diagnostic tests, such as x-ray, electrocardiogram, and laboratory tests.
- Performing therapeutic procedures, such as injections, immunizations, suturing and wound care, and managing infection.
- Instructing and counseling patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens and health maintenance.
- Listening to and understanding internal and external client needs.
- Aiding in the development, implementation, and revision of policies affecting medical practice judgment and quality of clinical care.
- Aiding in the development and presentation of education and instructional programs.
- Providing excellent and compassionate customer service to all patients, clients, and peers while incorporating Orange Book values.
Requirements
- Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree Major: Degree must be from an accredited college or university.
- Education Details: Bachelors’ degree in related health field from an accredited college or university
- Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies (graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program) / Masters of Science in Nurse Practitioner Studies (graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program)
- Certifications and/or Licenses: Passed the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination (PANCE), or NP equivalent
- Current licensed physician assistant / nurse practitioner in the state where employed and in accordance with state laws of practice
- Maintain work state licensure throughout the course of employment

Pay
Hourly Rate: $70 - $80
Schedule
PRN coverage 1-3 days per week; PRN Schedule: Monday - Friday 5AM - 6PM (flexibility within these times)
